I am the Center Operations and Programs Manager for USO Denver. I joke that it is a title as long as my list of responsibilities. I've been doing this for 3.5 years now, and while it requires an incredible amount of energy, compassion, patience, and even tears sometimes, it is also a perfect fit for me because I get to use every aspect of my undergraduate degree, and serve a population that is close to my heart. My father served in the Navy for 29 years, making me what is affectionately referred to as a military brat. I attended 7 schools, having moved 5 times between three different states, before graduating from high school. My family lives in Washington State, but my military family is all over the world.
