Hello my name is Paula! I am currently a senior in high school. I am thinking of studying psychology and minoring in voice performance. I am still not fully committed to a major as I am still keeping my options open. For me one of the biggest struggles in high school was maintaining a tight schedule for studying. I found myself procrastinating assignments and fulfilling them poorly. I wish that for college, since I am able to have a little more freedom with my schedule, my studying habits become stronger and more efficient.
How should I improve acting/vocals for school musicals/plays?
I'm a middle/high school student who's interested in participating in plays and musicals for my school. I've only been in two in the past and have gotten side/background characters and a narrator. I don't have much experience in acting and I am a self-taught singer. What are some good ways to improve my acting/vocals and to possibly have a better chance in getting a lead role?
What was the most rewarding thing you experienced in a performance or in an audition?
I want to be able to gauge my success better and not just focus on getting into a show or getting a rather large applause. I want to be able to see how other performers view achievements and be able to grow and reflect on that. #vocal #performing-arts #success #voice #music #singing

I don't know what to major in
I was really thinking of majoring in Voice but I might just minor in it. However I don't know what to major in. Every career test I take tells me to major in Visual Arts :/ I like writing, cheerleading, dance and makeup. I really don't know where that puts me in. How can i make sure that my voice doesn't crack while im singing
