Faseeh’s Career Stories
Did anyone ever oppose your career plans when you were young or push you in a direction you did not want to go?
Hmmm... I am ideally a very stubborn person by nature. My father wanted me to do engineering and I chose to do BCA. He advised, but did not retaliate when I told him my decision. Today, neither him nor me have any regrets about my decision.
When you were a student, did you do anything outside of school to build skills or get knowledge that has helped your career?
As a kid I was always the naughty kind. But I had a lot of imagination and it was always shown on literature. Students would find an essay as a tough task and I would easily score the highest on them with less effort. The reason why my literature was strong was because I used to read a lot. I was a voracious reader. I used to take my time reading newspapers since I was a six year old. I eventually graduated to novels and by the time I was 14, I would finish reading 100 pages an hour. 15 years later I still am capable and have not left that one habit. My parents had trouble with the amount of literature I would read. Today, it is this habit of mine that has given me the luxury of doing my job with a lot of ease.
