Let's say I wanted to freelance instead of working for a company. What should be a good rate to start at? Also, how would I get my work out there? Is social media the only way, or are there other ways as well?

What are some of the biggest challenges Graphic designers face today? I'm considering going into graphic design, but I'm hesitant due to the use of AI.
