What steps did you take to get into museum curation?

Hi, I'm fresh out of high school, and I love all kinds of art, art history, cultural and ethnic studies, and history. I love making art myself, as well, and learning about other groups of people. I am thinking I want to go into Museum Curation. Wondering what steps you took to get into this field, does it bring you joy, and what does a day in the life look like? Is it rewarding? Does it pay well? Thank you for your time!

What undergrad experience was the most valuable to you as a physician?

What experience during your undergraduate education was most valuable in preparing for your career in medicine? I am a senior in high school preparing to start college next year, and I’m want to make the most of my time in undergrad. My goal is to pursue medicine, specifically surgery. What were the most meaningful things you did during this time that either prepared you for medical school or your career as a physician? And why? Thank you so much! #fall25

How can I get involved in research early on in college, especially in biotechnology or healthcare?

I want to be hands-on and contribute to something meaningful, but I’m not sure where to start or how competitive those opportunities are. Are research opportunities mostly reserved for upperclassmen or students with connections? How do I find professors doing work I care about, and how do I reach out without feeling like I don’t know enough yet? I’m willing to work hard and learn, but I also know that getting in the door can be the hardest part. This is something I want to figure out early because I don’t want to waste any time.

I was a theatre magnet student for 3 years, I'm 16, and I am very interested in getting back to acting and Broadway.
