I did a business studies (Managerial & Administrative Studies) BSc as I didn't know what I wanted to do... After graduating I took a summer job in a call centre and a few weeks later switched onto a permanent contract as the company seemed interesting and I didn't have a better idea.
I never left... though I've changed job lots of times and the company changed name twice and I've been outsourced but my current job is as a project manager for a global Sales Enablement team.
My jobs have included: complaint handling, customer service, IT Business Analyst, PMO manager, Workshop facilitator, organisational change consultant, Transformation consultant, and programme manager.... I've experienced different bits of the business both client-facing and internal.
I've also been doing volunteer jobs as a trustee for charities and am always happy to talk about how that experience helped my career.
