I am High School Senior interested in going into dentistry after undergrad and have been taking all the necessary steps and want to know how I can maximize my opportunities early on in my career.
How did you know what career path was best for you?
I keep changing my plans and I feel like I need to know now at 17, currently I want to eventually become a dentist, but even then I’m worried that maybe in the future I’ll regret it.
What bachelors and prerequisites do I need, and what other classes might be useful?
I am wanting to go to a four-year college and then dental school.
Usually doctors go to school for over 8 years after high school, how did you find the motivation to keep showing up to school for years? How did you avoid/manage the burnout?
