I’ve often had to write 20 page papers and I’m given a deadline. I’m not sure how much work to do each day and sometimes find myself procrastinating.

I am going to Virginia Tech, if anyone is a Hokie :)

I am currently a high school senior who struggles to stay focused and manage my time wisely especially when the tasks are boring or mentally exhausting. I get easily distracted by things like social media or my phone and I want to build better study habits before I get to college.

I am a senior in high school commutes to attending North Carolina State University in the fall and plan to major in psychology with the hopes of doing clinical counseling and research.

I prioritized English and writing related classes because I thought that was my future career. However, I feel like it isn't, and now I feel behind.

Is it the change from a very structured high school environment to a more open one, or just much higher difficulty level in the classes? Are there any good tips on managing your time wisely?

Although I am a few years from applying to college myself, I have always been interested in learning what I need to do to get into a good college and be successful.

What should I do to set myself apart for internships as I go into college Is there any advice I should follow for specifically Duke University, where I will be attending in the fall??

I am interested in pursuing biomedical engineering but am not sure what the job market looks like and the path to medical school.

I enjoy coding in my free time.
I also intern for a commercial hvac company, so I have earned some experience in this field.

I want to make sure I know some of the people I go to class with so I can ask questions when I have them or form study groups- I'd love to know the best way to do that!

I am attending Virginia Tech next year and know engineering is a lot of work, high school wasn't too tedious so I've never had to study a ton but know I'm going to have to soon. Thanks for the help!
