I am nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience in the medical field helping each patient live their most healthy and beautiful life. Before nursing, I was a dental assistant, taught in a dental assistant program, and a licensed massage therapist treating Olympian divers. My registered nursing experience is in the pediatric IMU, neonatal ICU, transition nursery, newborn nursery, postpartum, gynecologic surgery post op, and mother baby couplet care. I also have elementary school nurse experience. I am a certified health science technology teacher in Texas and taught Principles of Health Science and Pharmacy Technology in high school. I am a nursing professor at Chamberlain College of Nursing. As a nurse practitioner, my experience is in women's health in an OB/GYN clinic including hospital rounds and Psychiatry. I am also a stage IV cancer survivor in remission here to tell you that you can do anything, and overcome anything, just so long as you believe that you can!
