I have been in the medical field since 2012. My first medical job was at 18 years old as a medical assistant for an OBGYN office. I had a wonderful nurse practitioner encourage me to become a registered nurse. I worked a full time job during the day and went to school at night until I got into nursing school in 2016. While I was in nursing school, I worked as a patient care tech (PCT) for a cardiac intensive care unit. When I graduated with my ADN in 2017 I immediately started working on the CICU unit. Fast forward to today…. I am a PACU nurse and absolutely love it.
I hope to share what I can and hopefully inspire someone else.
