<p>As an Iowa farm boy, I learned how to repair and fix almost anything. I would even take things apart that weren't broken just to see how they worked. Originally wanting to do mechanical engineering, circumstances led me to doing electrical work instead. I am a professional registered electrical engineer in (5) states, a licensed master electrician in (2) states, a senior member of IEEE, a member of American Mensa, and an electrical subject matter expert for the Texas Dept of Licensing and Regulation. I now produce a CAD system for electrical engineering design that runs on AutoCAD LT while also serving as the master electrician for my son's electrical contracting business.</p>
