How bad is the job market for data scientists and software engineers at an entry level position? Will it get worse with AI?
I am a high school student wondering about what career would be open for me. I like programming and computer science but I've heard that the job market is bad because so many people are interested in that kind of career and AI is taking jobs.
What part of science should I focus on if I want to make cures for diseases? What major is best for my goal?
I know I want to be in some field of chemistry and biology, but I am not sure which one aligns best with my goals.
What sort of advice would you give to someone who is looking to work with sick children if that person is very sensitive; regardless of that weakness, they have a strong passion and love for kids and that’s the only career they see themselves with for the long term?

What does a career as a folklorist look like?
I'm really interested in the field, but it looks like the majority of jobs are academic, and I'm not sure if I'm interested in those. Are there other jobs, or any jobs that lean heavily on folklore but aren't necessarily designated as folklore-based?

This fall, I will be starting college! I know that I want to one day work in the mental health field with children, but I’m not sure exactly what job would give me everything I’m looking for. I also have a passion for music. Is it possible to combine the two or should I pursue one over the other?
