What job has lot of flexibility whereas I could be able to not work on a certain day if I had an emergency?

How does one look for internships and apply, and how do you know that the internship will help you in the career that you are looking into?

I want to be a teacher as I grow up, but teachers only get a little pay. So I want to do a job that can earn a lot of money, but I have no idea what job is ok for me.

I have no ideas about my future job. I want some suggestion from other people.

For example a job with a not so hard major or maybe doesn't even need a college degree at all. But this job is good enough to provide stable living and flexibility.
