I’ve been involved in Product Management for 15 + years with a focus in health care. I’ve had the pleasure of working on cool software products that for example: tracked patients through hospitals using RTLS (real time location system), provided Risk Adjustment Medical Record Review services for health plans, and provided a call center with a platform for managing patient care. Prior to that I ran my own business for 14 years serving the clinical research industry by designing, manufacturing and distributing investigator startup kits for phase-3 clinical trials.

During the time I owned my own business I had the lucky experience of purchasing, fixing up and selling two commercial office buildings (small but with multiple professional tenants including the military!). So in my heart of hearts I’m a small business entrepreneur.

No matter what phase of my career or title, my focus has always been to listen to the customer, define their need, then build and manage a team to deliver product.
