What is the best way to get involved in clinical research straight from undergrad?
I'm currently a junior neuroscience major and working in a research lab on campus. I want to be involved in research (hopefully clinical) in some way immediately post undergrad and I am curious about the best way to go about that.
How helpful is a neurobiology degree if I want to be a neurosurgeon?
I've heard a couple of people say the degree doesn't really matter, but how will it affect, or will it affect my ability to become a surgeon?
What are some career options in the field of neuroscience?
Hello, I am currently in my second year at college, at a local community college. At this college, I have mainly completed only prerequisites and nothing to help a further career choice. I will be graduating with an associate of arts this spring. Afterwards, I plan on transferring to the University of Central Missouri. My original plan is to attend UCM for a degree in Fashion Business Textiles; however, from a young age, I've always wanted to be a neurosurgeon. I would never be able to be a surgeon, though, because I have frequent hand tremors. It occurred to me that I don't have to be a surgeon to have a career in relation to neuroscience. I still wish to achieve my bachelor's in Fashion Business but was also wondering about careers in neuroscience for a potential double major. I would be willing to further my education to a master's degree if I find the right career for me. Any ideas? Thank you!

How do you start research or find a lab in college?
How do you start research in college? I'm struggling as a college junior because the labs are very niche or are not accepting students. I just need a starting point to be integrated into a lab before I can start my own research on neuroscience and psychology. I also have independent research lab for both my neuroscience major and my psychology major, so I need to find a lab soon as that is my responsibility. I just need to get in contact with someone. Thank you!

As someone who is planning to pursue neuroscience on the pre-med track, what are some things I should do in the summer after I graduate high school? I was thinking of getting a certificate so I can work and have clinical experience during my first year in college. #CV23
