I have worked since the age of 14. At age 17 my first job was with the National Forest Service before high school graduation. My high school Principal got me my first job after graduation with the school system as a purchasing clerk.
I inspired to be a radiologist. My father worked in the medical field assisted with autopsies at a veteran hospital. Mother secretary. Her father was very business with only a second grad education built his home. That included a garage. Little did I know that a medical career was not for me after attending a radiologist school located in Chicago Ill.
I never gave business much thought.
Business classes in high school I was ok as far as typing, shorthand, bookkeeping I ended up with a Bachelor Science in Accounting, MBA with Technology Management course and DBA classes and now writing my dissertation for a Ph.D.
