Is there anything that made you reconsider your trade?

I've heard stories of bad security experiences but I wanna see if anyone here can give me some stories that may deter or maybe even encourage those seeking out this trade.

I would like to get some responses from professionals so I could better understand what the day to day looks like for anyone who works in security.

How much money do you make a year? Would you argue that it's enough to survive in the current recession we're in? Why did you choose this career path?

I want to continue in accounting but I hear from many that I need a masters to get opportunities. However, it's really expensive for me to do. Is it still possible to get into big corporates and governmental accounting with just a bachelors?
