College Applications/Schools List Deciding Career?

Hello I am a rising senior; I am wondering if anybody could give me advice on college applications. I live in Florida and I feel like staying in state would be a reasonable choice especially since it is expensive to go out of state. I want to major in Psychology and become a licensed psychologist. I am almost done completing my associate degree in high school. It would allow less money to pay for college. But I heard by my family that I should at least reach for some big schools out of state but I am unsure whether too. I have a couple listed but wondering if I should not apply for them. I will be applying for all universities in Florida and right now I have UT Austin, University of Georgia, University of Tennessee, Texas A&M, UT Dallas (I choose to put 3 schools in Texas since I really liked the atmosphere and the city there when I visited family). If anybody was in my position during college application season or decided to stay in state in Florida instead. What advice/guidance would you give? Also it would be really helpful if anybody majored in psychology and had any experiences of choosing a school in Florida that helped flourish their career.

What kind of Internships are available at universities like UF for Linguistics majors, and to add on, what kind of research is available?

For example, I am interested in doing Internships and research in my semesters at university. However, I haven't met any Linguistics majors yet to ask about these opportunities, and I haven't seen much information on this topic. Are there internships specific to Linguistics areas, like how engineering students have many for their specific subfields, or is the major too obscure to get something like that?

What kind of corporate law careers are available to Finance majors?

For context, I am a prospective transfer student, wanting to go into the University of Florida under their BSBA Finance program. Because I'm about to graduate with an associate's in business administration, I want to map out my education and career pathway as concretely as possible, as I head closer to getting into law school. I ultimately hope to become a corporate lawyer, but realize that business law involves a broad spectrum of specific practices. In short, I'd like to know if a BSBA in finance proportionally applies or is a good major to have for any careers in corporate law; and if so, what kinds specifically? If not, what undergraduate degree program should I pursue? Any help would be greatly appreciated. #Spring25
