I'm curious to what my options are before getting into med school. I have no idea what kind of doctor/surgeon I want to become yet. Thank you!

Like what grades and requirments do you need.

I’m 14 and I’m a freshman how would I become a doctor how many years of collage is there anyway I could get some scholarships being a freshman.

I want to become a doctor who also performs surgical procedures (I don't know what I want to specialize in yet) but if I get a B.S.N. can I still get into med school to pursue that path?

I want to be able to get into dermatology but I am struggling to commit because I do not want to go through 12-14 years of education. Are there any other roles similar to dermatology that require fewer years? I am not interested in estheticians, however

What if I don’t like the career I end up choosing at the end of high school.

What sparked your interest in your specific field?

I go to an academically challenging school, and after hitting the ground running freshman year, I hit the sophomore slump with less As than I'd like. I even got my first C. My grades in junior year are all As and A+s.

Are there any things that some people may regret after becoming a psychiatrist?

When I was younger I always wanted to be a pediatrician because I feel that I work well with kids so that leads me to the questions of how long I would have to go to college to work in that field.

I'm in the 11th grade aspiring to become and doctor in the medical field. I am currently leaning towards psychiatry, but would like to know my options before committing. Thank you so much for your help!
