Jennifer’s Career Stories
How did you pick your career? Did you know all along?
Well, to be honest, I did not choose my career—it chose me! My journey began as a registered nurse. While I truly enjoyed helping people and making a difference in their lives, I found myself increasingly drawn to the arts. There’s something about the creative process that ignites a fire within me. I've always had this impulse to create new and interesting things, and I’ve always got something to say. Writing has always felt like an outlet—a way to express thoughts and ideas that are often bubbling beneath the surface. My inclination to think outside the box has led me to explore unique storylines and imaginative narratives, making storytelling a fun and fulfilling stress-reliever. As a first-time author, I realized that my passion for drama extended far beyond the written word. Before I dipped my toes into novel writing, I had written and directed several plays and films, with a few of them garnering acclaim at 36 film festivals. Those experiences not only fueled my creativity but also built my confidence in storytelling. Now, I truly believe that creative writing is my true calling. It’s where I feel most alive, and it has opened up so many new doors and opportunities for me. I’m excited about where this journey will take me, and I can’t wait to keep creating and sharing my stories with the world!
