What helped you network best as an aerospace engineer. ?

I saw that a big part of being an engineer is networking and making professional contacts. I was wondering what would be the best way to meet these people and make these contacts for a future aerospace engineer. Thank you!

What must a college freshmen be prepared for when entering the workforce starting the Spring term of their college journey for a CO-OP program in a quarter system?

Drexel University runs on a quarter system, where you learn within a 10-week time span, and I chose to study for five years, and go on a three-year CO-OP. I start next year as a sophomore with a Spring/Summer cycle. This will be my first professional job that I will have for six months, and I want to know what I must prepare and become more prepared as I wrap up my freshmen year. #Spring24

What careers would allow me to create something that will change the world?

I'm interested in math and science, but love writing and traveling. I don't like jobs that are not hands-on, or that are lifeless - in other words, jobs like mechanical engineering or computer science which don't deal with life. I want to get out of "the matrix", but I can't for the life of me find or decide on a career where I can pretty much be guaranteed to create something that will change the world while eliminating the poor prospect of sitting on a computer all day.

What advice can you give me about my future career in Industrial Electronics?

I have a few questions about the Industrial engineering field, more specifically Industrial Electronics. Given the extensive process to even get certified or a degree, I'm curious as to the learning curve of the work? Are there any particular skills that I should become acquainted with before entering the work field? And are there any commonly open positions regarding this profession? Is it something I would easily be able to apply for a job in, or would it take a longer time with less likelihood of getting in than most other jobs?

Going down the right track ?

Hey there, I'm going to study electrical engineering at a top university abroad (t30) and plan to take a minor in applied AI in my second year. So for this, I have started working on Python, Java, and C++ (as I have already completed C back in high school) and plan to work on VHDL afterwards for digital hardware design and test engineering. I'm sure there are so many potential electrical engineers in this group who know if I'm going down the right track. TIA!
