I want to be a cop in a good city and in a good police department/sheriff's office. Or I want to work with a humanitarian organization.

Context: N/A
College: I hope to go to Texas A&M University and double-degree: one in International Studies (the Politics and Diplomacy track) and either Wildlife & Fisheries Sciences, Parks, Rec, and Tourism Sciences, or Psychology. I believe that the language requirement from my Intl Studies degree will help being on the streets as well as the critical thinking and exploration the major will give me.
Other Education: I am not sure if I want to go to grad school yet, but I have been thinking about trying to go for the 5-year joint degree program with Texas A&M and the Bush School of Government and Policy, which will get me a masters in less time than normal. (It's extremely competitive though).
Activities: I am the president of a homeschool leadership club; we go around the community, organizing projects to help others and developing good leadership qualities in ourselves. I am also working very hard to save up enough money so I can go on a humanitarian trip to Fiji next summer (I hope to go to Belize with the same humanitarian group in the summer of 2020). In college, I have to study abroad for a semester, which I hope to do in Germany.
Job Experience: N/A
Soft Skills: Friendly, critical thinker and logical, harworking, conflict negotiation
Hard Skills: Learning Spanish and will learn German in college
Other: N/A #criminal-justice #law-enforcement #travel #humanitarian
