How did you pick your career? Did you know all along?
I picked anesthesiology because it allowed me to be involved in almost every field of medicine. I enjoy acute care medicine and this field is definitely acute.
Did anyone ever oppose your career plans when you were young or push you in a direction you did not want to go?
Multiple people told me it was a bad idea. They were all wrong. They were just negative people. If you really want to be a doctor then do it. Be ready for long days and nights!!!
