How have career trajectories changed post COVID? Are people staying longer or shorter in their roles? Are people job hopping and are they satisfied?

Is there any classes or opportunities I can take to get some first hand experience?

I want to be an author, but would it be more financially safe to pursue a job in STEM and instead keep writing as a hobby?
