My name is Tameka and I have worked in the health care industry for over 20 years. I started in healthcare as a hospital unit secretary and certified medical assistant to now working for Deloitte Consulting in the Health Actuarial & Insurance Solutions practice. I work with state and local government client to support a number of government health benefit initiatives. My areas of focus involve data analytics, health finance, medical billing, actuarial and rate setting support, project management, health IT, training content development , technical and business writing, and leading small teams.
Aside from my career, I am married with three adult children, one granddaughter, and one fur baby, "Pepper" my yorkie cocker spaniel mix of 9 years. I enjoy mentoring and sharing my experiences to help others. I'm happy to be part of this village - CareerVillage!
