What is your best advice for someone who is about to be a freshman in college?

I wanna do something in the art department lets say that I find something I love doing but then I try out something else in the same department could I do both?

Do I have to be an athlete or participate in certain activities for example a club?

What steps should I take or what tricks are there?

forensic science is interesting to me, but i really struggle with math sometimes and i wanted to know if that’s a huge part of a forensic science job.
