What will help me stand out on direct-nursing admissions?
Hi, I’m currently a junior who is planning on applying to direct-nursing schools. I was wondering what would look best on my applications and help me stand out. I’m taking classes leaning towards the medical field like: medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, ap biology, and CNA. I’ve also applied for volunteering over the summer in hospitals. #Spring24

How to choose between pre-med and direct med?
Hi, I’m a junior trying to build my college list. Some of colleges I’m considering have a direct med program. How competitive is it to get into a direct med? Will it hurt me in the future if I don’t get in? what were some factors that helped you decide to commit to either pre-med or direct med? How competitive will it be to apply to medical school if you are on the pre-med path? (ik that a lot of questions so thanks in advance for anyone who answers!) #Spring24
Any Medical Illustrators Available If so I have a question concerning some tips? If you were in my position now, what would you be doing knowing you will eventually pursue medical illustration? ?
I'm a high school junior currently taking classes in the health sciences pathway at my school and I was wondering what skills and habits I should at the very least put into practice now since I would like to pursue medical illustration later in life. Maybe even possible classes I should take in the future. I'm already into art and draw pretty much daily (though I don't practice realism as much as I should). I also love learning about the human body and how it works, even in my spare time. After high school, I would probably pursue a bachelor's degree in some sort of health science. I unfortunately can't pursue an art degree because of financial burdens. But I digress, if anyone is willing to provide insight just know I really appreciate it!

I wanted to shadow a doctor but most hospitals only let college students do that. What can I do to get an internship?
