can you share some insight on what to expect for life after undergrad and where i should look into for schools?

To all BS/MD program participants... How did you get in? What was it like? Would you suggest it to someone who wants to become a General Surgeon? Does it matter which one? For example, Brown's PLME vs. Union's BS/MD program with Albany Medical College?

I'm also wondering if some of those can be achieved in associate's degrees, certifications, and short-term trade schools. Not just 4-6 year universities.
