If one is studying to become a Nurse Practitioner, what category of college major would it land in?

I want to become a Nurse Practitioner. While looking for scholarships and applying to universities, there is usually no NP option in the list of study. I've heard that the degree consists of BSN and MSN, but usually neither that nor NP is in the options bar. Would NP count as part of the nursing field? if not, what is the field usually referred to as? #nurse-practitioner #medical-school #scholarships #university #nursing-education #college-applications

What was the most difficult class to study for in the Nursing major?

I am a high school senior who is wanting to go into nursing in college, however I'm a little worried about some of the more advanced math classes as I'm not the best at math and am afraid that the classes will be very hard. But I'm curious what was the most difficult class for you when you were in the nursing program at your college? So that I may have a head's up and know what to pay close attention to. #nursing #nursing-education #college #preparing-for-college #studying-tips

How would you go about studying for an accelerated nursing program?

I will be starting an accelerated nursing program (1 year program) in November and was looking for any tips or advice to help me succeed. Since this is an accelerated program, I am not sure if my normal study habits will suffice. Nursing programs are normally 2-3 years, so my program will be really fast paced and I need to be prepared. #NursingStudent #nursing #nursing-education

I'm completely convinced in becoming a nurse! I'm a senior this year (graduating high school) and I want to know what schools you went to for nursing, and where you are working now? Do you enjoy your job? What should expect in my future career/education?

Most importantly how do I end up working in kaiser permanente? Haha, I know this may seem random but I really do admire their hospitals and friendly staff! But seriously how do I end up working in a place like Kaiser? #medicine #nursing #nurse #healthcare #health #registered-nurses #nursing-education

What is the best educational and cost efficient route for nursing?

I've been told to start out with my associates and get my RN, and then later explore an RN to BSN program. But I've also been told going to school for the two years to get my RN instead of getting my BSN right away would be a foolish mistake, and I would never find a job. What route should I take to give myself the best opportunities and sae the most money? #nursing #college-major #healthcare #health #pediatric-nursing #nursing-education #financial-planning #registered-nursing
