I'm a domestic applicant (with U.S. citizenship), but my family will stay in a different country while I'm in college, so I would prefer a safe environment with a location in which I can get the minimum supplies I need by myself, and it would be the best if there is a solid campus-town. I'm currently considering BS/MD or pre-med paths. Are there any universities/colleges that would suit me with these conditions?

College/university in safe environment with a solid pre-med path or BS/MD program.

How do we bring advanced analytics into safety work in a way that actually helps predict serious incidents without creating new problems because the data isn’t perfect?

Im more interested in how AI can play a big part in calculating safety controls before or when an accident is underway. Just because AI can be useful does not mean it's willing to make a right decision based on human expressions. #Fall25

How can you become an officer on ships like crusie ships?

I’m a 23 years old woman. I worked on crusie ships in the bar as a bar server/bar tender for 2 contracts. I wanna work on ships in the future, but in an other position, like an officer (for example safety officer). What kind of schools do I have to complete for that? Please give me some examples/idea for schools. I live in Hungary but as I know there is no maritime academy here, only for small ships like yachts etc. I’m happy if you can give similar job ideas as well. I really appreciate every answer. Thank you!

My friend would like to go to and out-of-state college but her mother is worried about her safety. Is there any advice you could give that would help convince her mother to let her pursue an out-of-state school?

My friend also faces financial problems. Her mother has low-income and her father is out of the picture for various reasons. The father has been in trouble with the law and there is currently a restraining order against him from the family. He has never felt the need to provide the family with money even though he has lots of it to spend for himself. This is one reason why her mother does not want to send her away. She is worried that the father will follow her and do something bad, and she would have no way of knowing about it. #college #safety
