Tony Award winning actor Anthony Crivello and Broadway Veteran Kelli James Chase will instruct share their wealth of knowledge and professional experience. Their goal is to prepare, augment and challenge their students for the REAL WORLD OF THE ARTS. This includes a wide range of philosophies, techniques,
studies and strategies whereby success can be achieved in the world of Musical Stage and Acting, as well as other professional arenas.
Anthony Crivello is 1993 TONY AWARD winner for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical as the original Valentine in Hal Prince’s “Kiss of the Spider Woman.” Additionally Mr. Crivello has starred on Broadway in “Evita” for Hal Prince and “Les Miserables”. In 1999 Mr. Crivello starred opposite Audra McDonald in the World Premiere production of “Marie Christine” at Lincoln Center. Recently he was awarded a
2001 LA Ovation Award Nomination for Sondheim/ Rodger’s “Do I Hear A Waltz” directed by David Lee (“Fraiser.”) Anthony’s Feature Film credits include “Jane Austin’s Mafia!,” “Independence Day,” “Crocodile Dundee II” and many noted television appearances including “Seinfeld”(Jerry Seinfeld &amp; Michael Richard), “Star Trek:Voyager”
“Geppetto” (Drew Carey), “Normal, Ohio” (John Goodman), “The Lost Capone” (Eric Roberts), and “Law and Order.” He can also be seen on the PBS special “Les Miserables in Concert: Live from London’s Royal Albert Hall.” Mr. Crivello has shared his singing talents on 10 original CD recordings as well as many film soundtracks.
Kelli James notable resume includes twenty-five years of starring roles in Broadway productions including four years opposite Donny Osmond as the The Narrator in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”, Eponine in the original Broadway production of “Les Miserables,” featured soloist (hand picked by Andrew Lloyd Webber) in his premiere production of “The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber in Concert”, and The American Tour of “Music of The Night.” Recently, Kelli starred in “Night of 1000 Voices,” an Encore performance of with the London Philharmonic at the Royal Albert Hall, London.
Ms. James additional credits include Columbia in ”The Rocky Horror Show,” Peron’s Mistress in “Evita” for Tony Award winning director Hal Prince, and Giulietta in “Aspects of Love”:National Tour. She has been featured on several albums including her solo debut CD “A Narrator’s Christmas”, and performed with such artists as Sarah Brightman, Gary Morris, Sam Harris and Faith Hill.
