How did you pick your career? Did you know all along?
"Strength emerges in the moments when you believe you can't continue, yet you persevere regardless." Throughout my life, I have faced challenges in finding my place in the world due to circumstances beyond my control and aspects I needed to learn to manage. These experiences led me to return to college at the age of 51, embarking on a journey to further my education and become a drug and alcohol addiction counselor, which I will graduate in 2025. Sometimes, life events can alter our career paths. While it can be daunting to start anew in a completely different field, it is also thrilling and something I am truly passionate about.
