How did you start building your network?
Building my network started with getting involved in work and projects that excited me. (Why build a network with people you don't think are interesting and admirable?) For me, that meant volunteering at organizations that I thought were doing good work. I showed up to events, participated where I could, and asked questions about what I wanted to learn more about. Naturally (and over time!), I've created a network of professionals and community members that I trust and respect.
