What is the one piece of career advice you wish someone gave you when you were younger?
Be tenacious and polite, find out more about the jobs you may want to do. Others do not really see most of the things I worried so much about. Do weekly reviews of your progress and goals.
In layperson terms, what do you actually do at work?
i solve problems using a computer. I clarify exactly how programs should work. I fix errors/bugs in computer programs. I review other programmers work. I review and sometimes edit documentation I do duties as assigned.
