Hi, I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on how to manage both school and academics as a college freshman?
I'm an incoming freshman who will need a job to afford to go to school
What should I do in my future, if I know not at all what I want. I've already made future plans for myself, but these plans are not my dream, they are practical plans. I do not have a dream in regards to a career, except of course to make money !! So, what do I do in my future if I myself am uncertain #Spring26 ?
I've already been admitted to 14 colleges, my family is low-income making tuition hard.

I'm a high school senior attending UNLV in the fall for psychology. I enjoy taking psychology and criminal justice classes, and plan to pursue a career as a parole officer or juvenile detention counselor soon after my college graduation.

How do you stay motivated to stay on top of your academic career?
I have trouble finding motivation to stay on top of my work and classes. How might I combat this?
How do I escape the world of learning about engineering and actually become an engineer?
I feel trapped in a loop of just learning and learning, never reaching the point of actually engineering anything, and I'm trying to change that and do something real.
How did you know what career path was best for you?
I keep changing my plans and I feel like I need to know now at 17, currently I want to eventually become a dentist, but even then I’m worried that maybe in the future I’ll regret it.
What does it take to be a successful Chemical Engineer?
I plan on attending a 4-year college and major in Chemical Engineering. However, I do not know many people who are Chemical Engineers or who have gone into that field. I would like to know what type of effort, skill, or maybe luck that it takes to become one.

What are they going to need to write a letter of recommendation
So I plan on going to Nevada state and I want to get scholarships like scorpion and millennium, but does my Nevada state application automatically sign up for me or do I have to make a separate app just for the scholarship?
I have already put in my Nevada State application and only sent my SAT scores to millennium, so do I have to do anything else or will Nevada state take care of the rest.

For example, Business Administration and Business Marketing.
Why do you think Deaf people are so aware of hearing people, but the hearing community can scarcely communicate with them?
I'm taking a Survey of Deafness class as a part of my studies for interpreting. I find it a shame us hearing folk do so little for the Deaf community.
