I'm a first-year college student and it's almost the end of the school year. Over the summer I would like to work on a project and I have a few fun ideas I would like to try out. I asked this question to see if my ideas could relate to others.

How do you choose a career within a certain field?
I know I want to major in psychology and have a career researching in the field. I also want to do counseling(ex: therapy). I am struggling to find a career that will allow me to do that while also having enough pay and time to support my traveling.
