I am a Stay-at-Home Mom with a professional background in the fields of communication and education. My experience encompasses the areas of writing, marketing, nonprofits, and student engagement, with workplaces ranging from public schools to comedy and radio nonprofits. I am especially passionate about disability justice, creative expression, community education, literacy, and copy editing.
I have a Bachelor's degree in journalism from Northwestern University, where I was a Quest Scholar, Scene+Heard editor, and WNUR DJ amongst other roles. I also studied anthropology for two semesters at the University of Illinois Chicago, equipping me with a deeper understanding of human rights, sociocultural phenomena, and the science of our species. My love for people, nature, and stories motivates me to work for a better collective future.
