I am trying to go into therapy for at risk youth and felons, and Im not quite sure how I should get there

I would like to know what are the main duties that you are expected to participate in and how strenuous is this specific field. I am an incoming college freshman going for premed and love to be prepared.

I am going to be an engineering major and a psychology minor, specifically in sports, with athletes dealing with severe head trauma. I am also not Pell Grant eligible, so some scholarships I can't even apply for.

I'm going back to school to pursue a degree in Computer Science after working as a nanny for nearly nine years. I'm curious to hear from others who’ve made a similar transition, not necessarily the same career choices
