I am a high school senior and am deciding on a major. I know I want to work as either a doctor or a surgeon but am not sure whether to study under biochemistry, microbiology, or something else.

I wanted to know this because it's just a general question that a lot of high schoolers have, but other than doctors, or stem majors I want to know other jobs that pay highly just not talked about as much.
