High school Senior going into college

I know what I'm good at and what I enjoy, and I have a broad idea of what I could do. I just don't know where to go from there. (Coming from a current College Freshman)

I am a 12th grader with a strong catholic faith and I am pursuing a career in law. I enjoy music and cooking as well as reading and public speaking. I am looking to be able to have a successful career without sacrificing my beliefs

Is there anything in which you recommend to someone with many years of schooling ahead of them? I am someone who plans to go into anesthesiology. I know I will have many years of schooling to go through, and I want to make sure that I don't experience burnout.

I am interested in going to Medical school to earn a degree in pediatrics and hope to go to UW-Madison for my undergrad.

Is it a good idea to record the lecture and then take notes later or is it better to take notes during the lecture?

I'm looking at colleges, and they all seem the same, but I want to know which program stands out more. Do you suggest taking the direct admit program that certain colleges offer, or taking the competitive path?

I've participated in summer research programs, but I'd like to know more about what to expect from research in college as an undergraduate. Thanks!
