Started college as a biology major. Became interested in psychology and took a lot of that, too. Decided to pursue a career in clinical psychology, and discovered I could work as a mental health counselor with a master’s degree in counseling as I could not afford a doctoral degree. Started my career in community mental health and now work in a private practice.
