I'm working on getting certified but, will I need to continue college in order to be taken seriously

im thinking of becoming a welder and possibly thinking of becoming a union welder but I'm unsure about it is it better to be a contract welder or are those 2 the same thing?

During study and training it never really got through to me if i need an apprenticeship for Medical admin.

Will I be taken seriously if I start looking for a medical administration job after I've finished the proper training?
