How long is the degree?

I'm a high school senior from a small southern town, and it's hard when you tell people you want to be an engineer and they look at you funny. I am also struggling to find other women in engineering.

How do I apply to college? What tests do I need to pass in order to enter college? How do I know if I got admitted into college?

Looking back on your career as a mechanical engineer, which courses or specific skills have been the most beneficial in helping you succeed? Are there any particular subjects or hands-on experiences that you found especially valuable in your day-to-day work?

i want to go to college after high school. I want to study electrical engineering. i would like to know how the process is going to be like when I start college.

Does it require a lot of math? and if it does. What kind of math is necessary. I also wanted to know if it is easy to get a good job with that career.
