What are ways a Junior in highschool can upon to figure out what career path they want to take in life with all the pressure from family and school?

I want to be a real estate agent when i am older and i want to know what to do and not do just incase. I want to know what kinds of mistakes you guys did the were rookie mistakes to spread awareness to the younger audience who also wants to become a real estate agent.
