I am a graduate of Cornell University and Columbia Business School. I worked in media sales for Essence, Gannett Newspapers (was the Travel Ad Manager) and the Washington Post, where the then CEO tapped me and two others to open a New York office to solicit fashion advertising from New York firms such as Ralph Lauren.
I worked as an Adjunct Professor for several years before joining the NYCDOE where I ran CTE programs placing over 200 kids over seven years
in hospitality and medical internships.
