I am a senior in high school

What my mom says, is that being a doctor is the only way to be successful in life. I want to become a fashion designer though. How can I convince my mom to let me follow my passion? What assets do I need to become successful in this field?

I’m really into technology and aeronautics in general, but I also really like cosmetology, art and music. I really don’t know what I want to do, I have a lot of interests but I get bored of things easily.
