I am a Human Services student and my goal is to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker so I can work with veterans who face mental health challenges. I want to know what skills, experience, or opportunities I should focus on now while I’m still in school. Any guidance will help me plan my path.

How should I start preparing for them as an incoming sophomore in college?

I’m a high school senior from Massachusetts moving to Tallahassee Florida to attend FAMU for college. Although there are many resources on campus, I’m wondering what the major means more over for research opportunities as well as internships and eventually working.

Describe a typical work day. What should I expect? What can outside of the typical classes to help better prepare myself for the workforce?

I'm really interested in the field, but it looks like the majority of jobs are academic, and I'm not sure if I'm interested in those. Are there other jobs, or any jobs that lean heavily on folklore but aren't necessarily designated as folklore-based?

I’m a pre-professional ballet dancer, who has decided not to pursue dance after needing some pretty intense hip surgeries. I’m going into college next year as a pre-med student, and have found that I’m extremely passionate about helping dancers in situations similar to mine, I’m just not sure...
