I’ve been a nurse for over 20 years I first obtained my LVN license at 19 years old. I went back to school and get my RN associates degree. And five years later I completed my bachelors and Masters of science in nursing. I recently completed a Family Nurse Practitioner program and passed the Board exam. I’ve worked in pretty much every field from the hospital to home health to private duty to now neurosurgery. I love what I do and I wouldn’t change it for the world

How did you pick your career? Did you know all along?
When I was a teenager a classmate was shot and severely injured. I visited him in the hospital and saw how motivating the nurses were with him and how much it improved his spirit and overall health. It inspired me to be a nurse.
