What healthcare pathway should I decide to major in?

I'm going into my Junior year of high school, and although I know I still have some time before applying to college, I was wondering if there was a way that could narrow down some of my options. Some options that I'm considering are - emergency medical paramedic - emergency medical technician (emt) - labor and delivery nurse - physicians assistant - surgical first assistant - neurosurgeon (or assistant) - sports medic I don't get really nauseous at seeing blood, or anything like that. I honestly just don't know that much about each of those careers. I've done some research already, but it would be helpful if there's any first-hand experience of those careers that you guys could share with me, or if there were any classes that you think would be extremely important for me to take during my Senior year.

How would you best describe the process of medical school ? What are some of the main challenges, and how did you overcome them?

I am a high school graduate hoping to go into medical school and would appreciate your advice on navigating the challenges of medical school. What are some of the main challenges, and how did you overcome them? How do you balance intensive study with other interests and spending time with loved ones? Is there a lot of study material overlap between medical assistant, nursing, and midwifery training? ? Your thoughts are appreciated! Thank you! *Edited by Admin

Two patients enter to seek treatment from you at the same time. One of them is rich, and the other is poor. Provide the different circumstances in which you would treat either patient first, and why.

While this question is probably answerable by those who are not in the medical profession, I think that perhaps those who are experienced would be able to provide me with a different perspective. #medicine -education #emergency-medicine #family-medicine #doctors-assistant -practice
