Is there room for development in security guard work? How long does it take to acquire all the proper qualifications towards most security guard positions?

I'm most interested about how buildings are made to resist earthquakes.
I know that they use things such as re-enforced steel, but I'm interested on what else is used

I'm most interested on things like the harness, cabling, and ropes, but I'm also interested on the other safety equipment such as the helmets

so i know what indie game dev is like (i know indie games when i see them, my game looks like one): there's a lot of incredibly stupid mistakes, and my head hates me because i slap it a lot (don't worry, i'm used to it), but what about AAA games? what's that like?

I'm a junior looking into majoring in sports medicine. What is the educational path to become a certified athletic trainer? How long does it take from college to being fully qualified for the field? Why do some schools have 2 year programs and some are 5 years?
